What is Love Is___.
Love Is___. is the Youth Alive Queensland state event in 2011 where everyone from South East Queensland is invited to take part and find out the answer to the question of what Love is.
Where do I buy tickets for the September 9th State Event (Love Is ___.)
Tickets can be purchased online at http://tickets.youthalivqld.com
How much are tickets?
Book online at http://tickets.youthaliveqld.com
Ticket prices are $22.00 up until midnight on Monday the 5th of September.
Tickets will be $28.00 if purchased from Tuesday the 6th of September online.
Online sales will STOP at 4pm on Friday the 9th of September.
Ticket sales will be available at the door on Friday the 9th of September from 5:30pm.
There will be a credit card transaction fee of $2.00 per booking, larger groups of ten and above have the option to pay via bank transfer.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes you can.
Tickets will be $28.00 if purchased from Tuesday the 6th of September and at the door from 5:30pm.
Are group ticket bookings available?
Group tickets can be purchased in one large and easy transaction via the tickets page http://tickets.youthaliveqld.com
How will I receive my Ticket?
All tickets for the 2011 Love Is___. Event will be delivered via email, no printed tickets will be provided. If you have a large group you will be required to print the tickets and hand one to each person.
When will the Gates Open?
Gates will be open from 5:30pm. Party starts at 6:00pm with competitions, Jonnday and a chance to hear from the the hosts on the night.
What time will the event finish?
The show will be finished by 10:00pm on September 9, 2011.
Where is the event?
This year the event will be held at the Brisbane Riverstageis located within the Central Business District. It is situated next to the Brisbane River and within the City Botanic Gardens. For more information please visit the getting there page.
Will food and drink be available on the night?
Light meals and refreshments will be available for purchase on the night.
How can I get there?

Buses & Coaches
There is parking for buses available on Alice Street, we would recommend leaving 10 to 15 minutes for your youth group to walk through the gardens to the Riverstage. Please visit the getting there page for more information.
Bus parking is also available across the river at Southbank with walking access via the footbridge.
Can I get promotion materials sent?
Note: We will only be able to send to your school/church/business.

What are the partnership (sponsor) options?
Youth Alive Qld would not be able to put on these events without the support from businesses as partners of our events. If you would like to become a partner, please email info@youthaliveqld.com and we will forward you the link to the partnership package page.
How would I make a donation for the event?
If you wish to make a donation to enable Youth Alive to give a way more free tickets in schools to students that would not get a chance to come otherwise. Please transfer the amount to the bank details provided on our website with the narration “donation love is” and email the transaction record to info@youthaliveqld.com
Is a tax deductible donation possible?
Youth Alive Qld has a DGR (deductible gift recipient) arm that enables us to facilitate our education and school seminar projects. If you wish to make a donation towards this please email info@youthaliveqld.com first and we will produce a receipt for your intended donation plus provide you with different bank transfer details.
What are the School Seminars?
On the week leading up to the Love Is___. event Youth Alive Qld will present seminars in over 40 schools, these are a way to spread the word of the event but mainly present the message of Youth Alive Qld in schools to students that may not have a chance otherwise. Can I bring my camera?
Photography equipment is permitted if you email info@youthaliveqld.com first and agree to provide photos to Youth Alive Qld after the event, however point and click cameras and mobile phones are preferred and Youth Alive Qld is not liable for broken or stolen goods on the night

Will there be a cloak room?
There will not be a cloak room at the Love Is___. event on September 9, 2011.
I want to run a stall, how do I organise that?
Stalls to sell food and drinks are not available, if you wish to have a stand to promote your business or organisation please refer to the question about becoming at Partner of the Love Is___. event or simply email info@youthaliveqld.com
Is there an age limit?
Patrons under 18 should be accompanied by a responsible person over the age of 18
Patrons under 15 years MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian and supervised at all times.
Safety and security of minors at the event.
Youth Alive Qld’s Love Is___. event is an all ages event, you will not be able to purchase or consume alcohol at the event. We strongly recommend young people aged from 15 to 18 be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 or over).
Will there be a signing tent?
Yes, there will be signing tent/s. The roster of signings won’t be released until the night of the event.
Can I get a timetable of the night?
We do not publicly provide the full timetable of the night, please refer to the gate opening and event finish time questions.
Our band want to play at the event…
You can submit your artist to info@youthaliveqld.com Send a brief bio about the band and a link to your music (MySpace, Pure Volume etc). There is no guarantees that you will receive a response though.

How do I volunteer for the event?
Volunteer applications are now open, all applications are taken through the website, just go to the Love Is page http://www.youthaliveqld.com/loveis/volunteering and select the Apply to Volunteer option. All successful applicants will be contacted in the coming months, we do expect volunteers to still buy tickets for the event.
